Burren College of Art

Burren College of Art is an internationally recognised not for profit charitable trust committed to the initial education of artists, and to their continuing professional development.

We offer graduate, undergraduate and artist residency programmes to students and artists from around the world.

The Burren College of Art was purpose built to the highest standards in 1993 in the grounds of a sixteenth century castle, winning architectural awards and becoming subject to a preservation order. Great care was taken in the selection and use of building materials to ensure that the college complements its natural environment. The campus was extended in 2005 with graduate studios and an art gallery. The aadministration is located in a resotred farmhouse on campus. The facilities are spacious and comply with international health and safety regulations.
